¿Paul McCartney esta muerto?

Hay gente que dice que esto es un mito, que lo que realmente ocurrió
es que tuvo un accidente de motocicleta el 26 de Diciembre de 1965, en
el que se rompió el labio y un diente. ¿Quien niega esto? Un accidente
no quita al otro.

¿Que ocurrió después de su muerte? Los Beatles y su discográfica se
negaban a desaparecer. Debían buscar un sustituto de Paul, e hicieron
un concurso de "Parecidos de Paul" en Invierno del 66.

Este concurso no tuvo oficialmente ganador.... pero sí que lo tuvo: se
llamaba William Campbell, y a partir de ese momento fué el sustituto
de Paul a cambio de una considerable suma de dinero.

Desde ese momento los Beatles dejaron pistas en todos sus posteriores
discos, en recuerdo al fallecido Paul McCartney, y para que los fans
nos hiciéramos poco a poco a la idea de que Paul estaba muerto.

A continuacion los discos y letras de canciones refiriendose ala
muerte de Paul McCartney :

RUBBER SOUL

La única pista aquí está en la portada del disco. ¿Desde donde se ha tomado la foto con John, Ringo, George y el nuevo beatle William?. Desde la tumba de Paul. Sólo hay que observar las miradas de nuestros cuatro protagonistas.

THE BUTCHER
(The Beatles Yesterday and Today)

La sangrienta portada representa lo brutal del accidente en el que
Paul murió. Otra pista de esta portada es la cabeza que John muestra
al lado de Paul , que nos quiere decir que Paul murió decapitado en el accidente.

YESTERDAY

"I believe in yesterday, suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be".
La canción nos dice "Yo no soy el hombre que solía ser". No necesita
comentarios.

NOWHERE MAN

"you don't know what you're missing, nowhere man can you see me at
all?";"Tú no sabes lo que te estás perdiendo, hombre de ningún sitio,
¿puedes verme?.

Al final la portada del album quedo asì, sin embargo una vez màs pareciera maliciosa la posicion de Paul en ella: DENTRO DE UN COFRE (Ataud ?), ¿saliendo o entrando? o quiza con una parte de el adentro (su cuerpo) y la otra afuera (su imagen y talento). Por ultimo, ¿no creen que John hace un esfuerzo por simbolizar una señal de «cruz» con sus piernas cruzadas?

REVOLVER

En la portada William Campbell es el único Beatle que no mira al
frente. Esto significa el resto nunca le considerarán uno de ellos.

TAXMAN

"If you drive a car"; Si conduces un coche...
"If you get too cold"; Si tienes mucho frio...
"My advice to those who die - Taxman"; Mi consejo a aquellos que
mueren, Taxman...
Hay quien dice que Taxman se refiere a un Taxidermista.

YELLOW SUBMARINE

"In the land of submarines"; En la tierra de los submarinos. El
submarino hace referencia a un ataud, y por lo tanto la tierra de los
submarinos -ataudes- es una clara alusión a un cementerio.

GO TO GET YOU INTO MY LIFE

"I took a ride, I didn't know what I would find there"; Dí un paseo,
no sabía lo que podía encontrar ahí fuera. Recuerda cuando Paul tuvo
el accidente mortal.
"...and then suddenly I see you"; ...y de repente te ví. Tiene
relación con otra pista dejada en el "Sgt. Peppers" en la que nos
dicen que Paul tuvo el accidente por distraerse al ver a su amor
"Rita".

TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS

"Played the game existance to the end"; Jugó al "juego de existir" al
final. Referencia clarísima a Paul.
El título de la canción está extraido del "Libro Tibetano de la muerte".

SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEART CLUB BAND

PISTAS EN LA PORTADA:

Las flores amarillas están dentro de la funda de un bajo, el
instrumento que tocaba Paul.

La gente mira hacia el montón de tierra formado por una tumba, la de Paul.

Hay tres palos encima del bajo, representando que ahora sólo quedan 3 beatles.

Si te fijas bien, verás que las flores amarillas escriben: PAUL?

El muñeco de la derecha tiene en la mano un coche blanco con el
interior manchado de sangre. Es un coche similar al modelo que
conducía Paul.

Debajo del anterior muñeco, se puede ver un vaso con flores amarillas.
Fíjate muy atentamente y verás un coche que ha caido desde un
precipicio y del que salen llamas.

Debajo de la letra T está el Dios Hindú "Shiva el destructor". Su mano
apunta directamente a Paul.

Paul es el único que no tiene la cabeza "tridimensional",
representando que está en otra dimensión.

Paul tiene en la mano un instrumento negro, mientras el resto de la
banda tienen instrumentos de otro color. El negro se asocia con la
muerte.

Se ve una mano abierta encima de la cabeza de Paul. según la tradición
india eso le pasa a la gente que va a morir o ha muerto recientemente
. La mano encima de su cabeza aparecerá en más ocasiones.

PISTAS EN EL INTERIOR DEL DISCO
En el brazo izquierdo de Paul hay un escudo. En él se leen las
iniciales O.P.P. (Ontario Provincial Police). Esto es así porque
William Campbell fué oficial de policía en Ontario.

PISTAS EN LA PORTADA POSTERIOR

En la fotografía vemos que William Campbell está de espaldas, ya que
realmente no es quien parece ser.

En la cabeza de Paul aparecen las palabras "Without You" (Sin tí)
porque él realmente no está.

El dedo pulgar de George apunta a las letras "Wednesday morning at 5
o'clock" (5 de la mañana del miercoles), el momento de la muerte de
Paul.

PISTAS EN EL DISCO DE VINIL

La segunda cara de la edición inglesa nunca acaba, ya que tiene una
pista de audio que se repite infinitamente. Suena una charla
incoherente, que si se pone al revés dice: "Will Paul come back as
Superman?". ¿Volverá Paul como un super heroe?.

PISTAS EN LAS LETRAS DE LAS CANCIONES

SGT PEPPER'S LONELY HEART CLUB BAND. "Let me introduce to you the one
and only Billy Shears".Permítante presentarles al único Billy Shears.
Billy es un apodo de William, el sustituto de Paul. BILLY SHEARS se
descompone en "BILLY'S HEARS" que significaría que Billy empieza a
oir, a estar presente en el mundo.

SHE'S LEAVING HOME. "Wednesday morning at five o'clock". El miércoles
a las cinco de la mañana, el momento del accidente.

LOVELY RITA. "When I caught a glimps of Rita". Cuando ví un destello
de Rita. El accidente de Paul se produjo cuando tuvo un despiste al
ver a su amiga Rita.

GOOD MORNING, GOOD MORNING. "Nothing to do to save his life". Nada que
hacer para salvar su vida...
"People running around, it's five o'clock". La gente corre alrededor,
son las cinco en punto. Otra vez nos hablan de la hora del accidente.
"Watching the skirts, you start to flirt, now you're in gear". Mirando
las faldas, usted empieza a coquetear, ahora usted está en el
vestido". Paul tuvo el accidente al mirar la falda de Rita, ahora está
en el vestido, en la mortaja.

A DAY IN THE LIFE. "He blew his mind out in a car". El apagó su mente
en el coche. Sin comentarios...

MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR

En la portada Paul es el único que aparece como una morsa negra. En el
poema "La morsa y el carpintero" de Lewis Carrol (de la que John era
un fan), la morsa negra come ostras y se muere. Además la morsa es
señal de muerte en ciertas culturas.

PISTAS EN EL LIBRETO INTERIOR

Este libreto sólo está en la primera edición del LP.

Paul aparece en todo el libreto sin zapatos, que es como se entierra a
las personas: descalzos.
En la página 1 los magos esconden la cara de Paul, porque realmente no es él.
En la página 3 Paul se sienta debajo de las arquetas cruzadas. En los
funerales ingleses se ponen unas arquetas cruzadas encima del ataud.
En la página 4 el sombrero de Paul se aplasta, indicando que sufrió
lesiones en la cabeza en el accidente.
En la página 13 se lee en el bombo de Ringo "LOVE THE 3 BEATLES".
Ama a los 3 beatles.

En la página 24 Paul es el único que lleva un clavel negro.

PISTAS EN LAS LETRAS

I'M THE WALRUS. "Bury me, bury me, bury my body. Oh untimely death."
Entiérreme, entiérreme, entierre mi cuerpo. Oh, muerte intempestiva.
Esto aparece si se escucha atentamente al final de la canción.

STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER. "I buried Paul". Yo enterré a Paul. Esto se
escucha si se pone la canción al revés.

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE. "Yes he's dead. We love you yeah, yeah, yeah.".
Sí él está muerto. Nosotros te queremos sí sí sí. Al final de la
canción se escucha esto clarísimamente.

HELLO GOODBYE. "you say goodbye, I say hello". Tú dices adiós y yo
digo hola. Representa la salida de Paul del grupo y la llegada de
William.

THE BEATLES (THE WHITE ALBUM)

GLASS ONION

"Looking through a glass onion". Mirando a través de una cebolla de
vidrio. El término "cebolla de vidrio" se usa para hablar de un ataud
con la tapa de cristal.
"I told you about the Walrus and me. We are as close as can be. Well
here's another clue for you all, the walrus was Paul". Les voy a
hablar sobre la foca y yo. Eramos como uña y carne. Aquí hay una pista
para todos, la morsa es Paul. Escucha la canción y verás como está
claro.

WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS

Se oye: "Paul, Paul, Paul, Paul...". George canta esto porque echa de
menos a su amigo Paul.

I'M SO TIRED

Si se escucha al revés se puede oir Paul is Dead Man, miss him miss
him". Paul es un hombre muerto.

REVOLUTION Nº 9

Escuchado normalmente se oye "Number Nine, number nine" (número
nueve), pero al revés oiremos "Turn me on dead man, turn me on dead
man". Conviérteme en un muerto.

DON'T PASS ME BY

"You were in a car crash...". Tú estuviste en un accidente de coche.
"And you lost your hair". Y perdiste tú pelo. Hace una referencia a
las lesiones en la cabeza de Paul.

YELLOW SUBMARINE

En la portada volvemos a ver la palma de la mano encima de la cabeza
de Paul. Esto significa que esta persona está fallecida o a punto de
morir.

YELLOW SUBMARINE

"Sky of blue, sea of green in our yellow submarine". Cielo de azul,
mar de verde en nuestro submarino amarillo. El subamrino representa el
ataud de Paul que está enterrado bajo cesped verde.

"In the land of submarines". En la tierra de los submarinos, es decir,
en el cementerio.

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE

"Yes he's dead, we loved you yeah, yeah, yeah.". Sí, él está muerto.
Nosotros lo amamos, sí sí sí. Si se escucha atentamente, al final de
la canción oímos esta frase dicha por John.

ONLY A NORTHERN SONG

"When you are listening you may think that the band is not quite right
the band is a little dark and out of key, you're correct, there's
nobody there". Cuando usted escucha puede pensar que la banda no está
del todo bien. La banda es un poco oscura y fuera de tono, usted está
en lo cierto, no hay nadie allí. Una pista clarísima.

HEY BULLDOG

"You think you know me but you haven't got a clue". Pensais que me
conoceis, pero no teneis nunguna pista.

ABBEY ROAD

PISTAS EN LA PORTADA:

La foto representa una procesión fúnebre, siendo John el predicador
(va vestido de blanco), Ringo como el doliente (de negro), George como
el sepulturero (con ropa de trabajo) y Paul como el difunto.

Los ojos de Paul están cerrados, porque él está muerto.

Paul avanza con el pié delantero, mientras que los otros Beatles lo
hacen con el izquierdo. Los otros Beatles no consienten que William
Campbell aparezca igual que ellos.

Paul fuma con la mano derecha, pero él es zurdo, lo que demuestra que
el de la foto no es Paul, es William.

El coche del fondo parece que va directamente contra Paul, en lo que
es la representación de un accidente de Tráfico.

La matrícula del escarabajo de la izquierda es 28IF (traducido sería
"28 SI"). Es decir, Paul tendría 28 años SI estuviera vivo. Realmente
Paul tendría 27 años, pero según algunas tradiciones indias en las que
Paul creía (y algunas chinas), el año cero se cuenta como el primero.

Esta misma matrícula empieza por "LMW", que quiere decir "Linda
McCartney Waits", Linda McCartney espera.

PISTAS EN LAS LETRAS DE LAS CANCIONES

COME TOGETHER. "One and One and One is Three". Uno y uno y uno son
trés. Hace referencia a que sólo quedan tres Beatles. "He got monkey
fingers". Él tiene dedos de mono. Habla sobre Paul, ya que a los
muertos se le curvan los dedos como a los monos."He got hair, down
below his knees." Él tiene el pelo hasta sus rodillas. También habla
de Paul, ya que a los muertos las sigue creciendo el pelo.

SHE CAME IN THROUGH THE BATHROOM WINDOW. "So I quit the police
department and got myself a steady job". Me fuí del departamento de
policía y conseguí con trabajo estable. Habla sobre William Campbell.
Ya vimos en el Sgt. Peppers que él era oficial de policía.

LET IT BE

De las cuatro fotos de la portada, tres aparecen con un fondo de color
blanco, y como no, el fondo de la foto de William Campbell aparece de
color oscuro.

DIG A PONY

"Well you can imitate anyone you know". Sí, puedes imitar a cualquiera
que conozcas.

Y se murio??

Let It Be

En 1970, The Beatles hicieron otra película llamada Let It Be. Se suponía que iba a ser un documental del "renacimiento" del grupo pero resultó ser una película de su desintegración. La idea original era mostrar a los integrantes ensayando y después dando un concierto. Lo que se obtuvo fueron incontables horas de ensayos fallidos, discusiones y un concierto rápido en el techo del edificio de Apple. La película termina cuando la policía interrumpe el concierto en una clara alusión del final de la carrera de The Beatles.

Esta película fue una caricatura estrenada en 1968. Se trató de un lugar llamado Pepperland que estaba siendo atacado por los Blue Meanies, cuya intención era gobernar al mundo y destruir la música y la felicidad. Un hombre llamado Fred busca a The Beatles para poder destruir a los Meanies.

Magical Mystery Tour

En el verano de 1967 The Beatles filmaron la película llamada Magical Mystery Tour. La trama es sobre The Beatles y una extraña combinación de gente en un autobús que viaja por la compiña inglesa. Algunas de las paradas del autobús fueron para ver a The Beatles interpretando canciones como "I Am The Walrus" y "The Fool On The Hill".
